D40-3474; 1940 Dress

10-piece pattern originally by Simplicity, 'Back and front yoke cut in one.  Front blouse gathers to pointed yoke.  A nine-gored skirt joins blouse at natural waistline.  Three-quarter or short sleeves are finished with inside tucks at lower edge.  Long sleeves are also provided'. 

3/4" seams are given at underarm (all side) seams and 1/2" seams are given on all other edges.

Size set A fitting 14-20 (32" to 38" bust, 26" to 32" waist, 35-1/2" to 41-1/2" hip).

Size set B fitting 40-46 (40" to 46" bust, 34" to 40" waist, 43-1/2" to 49-1/2" hip).
